Lesson #2638-2640 - Recent Events, Part I-III

Things have been . . . things the last few days. They're only going to get more things, too, I would guess.

I do find it a little fascinating (while being fairly disturbed at the same time) that the only answer people immediately come up with is retaliation, openly ignoring that retaliation is exactly what the other side wants. As if our side thinks, 'Well, sure, they want retaliation, but we'll give them SO MUCH retaliation, that will surely do the trick for preventing and settling future occurrences!" God forbid we do something more effective like go after their funding and support because that, oh, I see, that comes from our allies. And then to encourage xenophobic behavior as retaliation - which again, is exactly what the other side wants - through promotion of religious intolerance argued in favor of by members of a religion named in part after characteristics of love and tolerance. Well, back to lizard braining it goes, I guess.
